Cottage Opportunities
Legacy Founders Cottage – in Oak Cliff
- Be a volunteer/visitor or buddy to a critically ill client
- Bring your dog to the Cottage, so long as it is well-behaved
- Have a truck or SUV? Occasionally pick up items/food for the Cottage
- Shop for the Cottage
- Share a hobby (art, crafts, games, reading) with the Cottage residents
- Provide arts and crafts supplies (markers, paper, etc.) for client use
- Supply note cards, paper, envelopes, etc. for program mailings
- Donate:

Lysol Disinfectant Spray
Ground Coffee
Gift Cards to grocery stores
Disposable Adult Diapers (NOT pull-ups), Size - Medium
Scrubbing Bubbles
Bags of assorted hard candy
Trash bags and Ziploc bags of assorted sizes
Gatorade and Koolaid
Granulated sugar packets
Non-dairy creamer packets
Paper drinking cups, 9oz. plastic cups, straws, disposable utensils and plates
Frozen meats (handled with the utmost care)
Diaper wipes
Non-powdered nitride and latex gloves (all sizes but preferably Medium and Large)

Liquid paper
- Make a monetary donation
- Help with gardening at the Cottage
- Help host an activities night at the Cottage (movies, karaoke, crafts, bingo, party)
- Help with painting/repairs/maintenance projects at the Cottage
- Participate in the Comfort Food Program, (volunteers provide dinner for the residents once a month for 6 months)
- Host food drives, grocery shop, cook dinner one night, or host a theme night
