Legacy Counseling Center

Patients at Legacy Founders Cottage are usually bed bound and TV is the primary way they pass the time. Purchase a month of cable TV for all of the patients at Legacy Founders Cottage for $45.00!

HIV+ Women’s Retreat

Every year for 10 years Legacy has had a GRACE PROJECT HIV+ Women’s retreat to educate 80 HIV+ women on health issues, medication compliance and how to disclose HIV status to others. It is also an important time for the women to bond, meet other positive women, and build a support system. This year our grant funding has been eliminated, so we have had to cancel our Spring Retreat. Since the event is so important to these women, this wall is to raise money for the new date for the very special event – August 20th. If we fill the wall it will cover 5 meals for each woman, along with a hotel stay and six health speakers, goodie bags, t-shirts, and a talent show that the women perform in. A lot of the items are donated and that is why we are able to provide all of this for 80 HIV+ women for this low cost.
