FRESH! fun in Victory Park

Complimentary cocktails, techno fashion show and live music highlight fundraiser for Legacy

DALLAS (Thursday, May 7, 2009) - FRESH!, the fabulous affair featuring food, fashion, and fun, comes to Luna de Noche in Victory Park, Sunday, May 17, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event benefits Legacy Counseling Center and Founders Cottage.

FRESH! organizer David Call of David Call Interiors wanted to create a new, exciting event that centers on newness. “FRESH! is all about having fun with some style,” Call said. “We’re working with James Martinez of Barron & J. and some of Dallas’ top models who are all working together to create a unique entertainment experience that includes live entertainment with Vince Martinez, Patty Breckenridge, and Donald Fowler, a techno-fashion show, and a contemporary art exhibit and sale. And there’s nothing more ‘fresh’ than the wonderful food and drinks at Luna de Noche in their brand, new restaurant in Victory Park.”

Legacy Counseling Center (http://www.legacycounseling.com) was founded 20 years ago by a small group of people living with AIDS who needed a place to go for support in dealing with this terrible disease. Today Legacy Counseling Center serves over 750 men, women, and teens each year by providing individual, couple, family & group therapy to HIV-positive people and their families. Legacy also operates Legacy Founders Cottage, a seven-bedroom house that provides around-the-clock care for critically ill and dying AIDS patients in a home-like setting.
